Letters to Santa

With just 35 sleeps until Christmas, it’s time to be thinking about the all important. . .

Letters to Santa and wish lists.

Small children love to send Santa a letter . . . after all, it’s better to get that very important list straight to the big man himself . . .

so I’ve designed a new one this year with a vintage theme to fit with the 2012 Christmas Planner. . . just in case, like me you secretly keep the letters!

For some children, the letter to Santa deed is just not complete until they have deposited the letter in the mail box themselves. . .

There are lots of free Santa Reply Mail services around the world that will send a letter back to your child, so check the web for an address that is appropriate for your region.

Here in Australia, letters to Santa can be posted over the counter at your local Australia Post retail outlet or in any red street posting box.

To make sure Santa receives your letter on time, send it to:

Santa
NORTH POLE 9999

Remember to write the address clearly, place a 60c stamp on the envelope, and don't forget to include the return address on the back of the envelope, so Santa knows where to send his reply. Only children who live in Australia will receive a reply.

Kids are so tech savvy these days, perhaps your little ones would prefer to send Santa an email.

Here’s one North Pole website that offers emails to Santa, but I’m sure there are quite a few others available.

I’ve also designed a vintage postcard for you to print off as an alternative to the usual ‘Wish List’. . . . a note of gratitude to Santa does foster good manners.

Gift giving is now a very big part of Christmas and for older children and even some of us adults. . .

A ‘wish list’ assists the giver and helps avoid disappointment on Christmas morning.

Shabby Art Boutique Christmas Planner - wish lists

These wish lists are part of my printable Simply Christmas 2012 Christmas Planner.

If you haven’t download yours yet, it is still available HERE.

I’m sharing my Santa letters at this week’s link parties and with these friends: French Country Cottage, The Vintage Farmhouse, 36th Avenue, Clean and Scentsible, Live Laugh Rowe, The DIY Dreamer, Transformation Thursday, At The Picket Fence, Nifty Thrifty Sunday.

Now. . .  I don’t want to be on Santa’s Naughty List, so I had better get back to work.

Hugs ~ Kerry
